In a previous post, we discussed something that most celebrities would probably want left as a secret: Who uses hair extensions and who does not. While it can be difficult to tell who is actually receiving a little hair help and who is going au natural, it’s always fun to speculate. That said, there are a few people out there we know now are using hair extensions and as such, it’s time to decide who wears them best.
We just came up with a list of the top 4 celebrities who know and love hair extensions and who make the exact right choices at the exact right times. We’d love your feedback on who you think does it right in the world of celebrity hair extensions, so feel free to sound off and comment with some you love.
Without further ado, here are the 4 best female celebrities we think do it best when it comes to their hair trends and their use of hair extensions to pull off looks most others could only dream of and long for:
- Mary J. Blige
- Scarlett Johansson
- Keira Knightley
- Paris Hilton
Like them or not, they have proven time and again masters at using hair extensions, the latest dyeing techniques and styling solutions to create entire new looks out of thin air, and they have been doing it for years. While they have teams of people making this happen, they pull it off and as such, are the 4 best.
To learn more about the latest hair extension trends and techniques for men and women, check out one of our upcoming hair extension educational classes near you. Plus, you should follow us on Twitter and Facebook today.

Move over ladies: men can wear hair extensions too.
If your male clients haven’t already asked you about hair extension services, get ready. They likely soon will.
The way we see it, this latest hair trend to take the salon world by storm is being driven by a combination of three things:
1. Men follow Hollywood trends, too: Celebs like Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Owen Wilson and Zac Efron – with their longer, messy manes – are helping set the trend.
2. Men will do anything to avoid going bald: Some men experiencing male pattern baldness are turning to hair extensions as an alternative to hair loss serums or creams.
3. Men can’t commit: Some men see hair extensions as a quick and easy way to give themselves a new look or new color – without any permanent change.
Are your male clients asking for hair extension services? Share your best practices with us.
