Our Staff
The success of Salon Memo is a direct result of us being available for our clients,
carrying the vital professional lines in a busy market, and most of all - having the
right team of educators. No matter what a product is or does, its performance can
be enhanced with proper knowledge of its uses. As a professional salon and beauty
product distributor, we are ultimately in the business of education. Through
working with Salon Memo - salon and spa professionals have dependable and
continual access to a distributor for one-on-one training sessions or admittance
to an upcoming seminar. Our nationally recognized educators will teach you
valuable lessons on product use, upcoming hair fashion trends, better business
practices, new technologies and how to grow your satisfied clientele list through
the proper marketing practices.

Darren Stork, President of Salon Memo
I have created a unique new company that is focused on educating the client. Inspired by my father, also a prominent name in the professional beauty industry, Salon Memo continues the strong legacy of quality, reliability and informative service. In 1972, I accompanied my father to my first beauty show. The wildly unique styles, the talented stage performers and the overall energy of the entire industry were gripping. After that experience I took my first big job as a Regional Sales director for Goldwell International. I had a job that I was interested in, excited by and at times - challenged by. In the thrill of it all I quickly excelled. I became one of the top 10 National Representatives. For nearly twenty years, My wife, Staci, and I have been leading the Salon Memo team while showing our clients the level of premium service they should be expecting. Salon Memo's unique approach is that we do more then distribute - we teach. We've also organized the products Salon Memo carries in a way that is efficient and useful to the user. All the products that we carry marry into each other or in other words - complement each other. Since Salon Memo's inception, Staci and I have created a strong, trustworthy, and successful brand among those who know beauty.

Staci Stork, Vice President
The professional beauty industry is always changing, so I am constantly and consistently looking to grow with new opportunities. The way to become successful is to do what you love and I have been doing just that. As a licensed esthetician, I have experience working with many different skincare companies including Clinique and Osmotics. My energy and excitement for learning something new - together with Darren's savvy business sense - has helped build Salon Memo as a trustworthy and successful professional beauty brand. I most recently worked as a sales representative with Salon Memo. By staying educated on the newest trends and technologies, my goal remains to keep Salon Memo on top of the beauty industry!

Jasmine Hoffman, Educational Leader and Trainer
Teach, technique and talent describe my educational style. I focus on teaching a full range of salon services including creative haircuts, haircolor, hair texture and makeup. I also own and operate a full service salon and spa Jasmine Salon and Day Spa, which I've been successfully operating for more than 10 years. When I began working with SO.CAP. USA Hair Extensions I knew I had unveiled an innovative direction in hairstyle artistry. Adding hair extensions builds confidence for my clients. Hair extensions are more then a new haircut or haircolor, they're a new you! They add passion, they add excitement, they add some part of a client that was missing before they came in.
That's what makes my job so rewarding. To enable others and to teach them the things I enjoy doing is what makes my career so gratifying. My classes are an A to Z demonstration on how to work with the tools and knowledge you already have to improve yourself and your techniques 110%. |

Michale Baker, Educational Trainer and Educator
Having a naturally innovative spirit is probably one of my strongest attributes. Another is the ability to creatively transform pieces of hair into pieces of art. My fondness of using color to transform the ordinary client into the exuberant client reached far beyond haircolor with traditional dyes and chemicals. With color as my muse, I practiced the art of transforming dull strands into hair that exploded with color and perfected it over 12 years. While always keeping on top of the latest innovations, I began working with hair extensions before people even knew the potential they had. As a master of the trade, I took my 12 years of experience and shared it with others. I am still inspired by the idea of creatively transforming a person with the use of hair extensions.
Creating beauty is a positive experience, if nothing else, for me. There is no fixed pattern or perfect arrangement, just something felt and created. You know you've accomplished a goal of satisfying a client when something is felt -- a glow and a communicated sense of splendor. I wanted to share that feeling with others. That's why I teach and educate. |

Sandra Donafee, Midwest Educator and Director for SO.CAP. USA Hair Extensions
Having confidence to succeed is key when it comes to my vibrant educational classes. My career highlights including Team Leader for Fashion Focus, VICA Hair Competition award recipient and working as an Artistic Director for Matrix Essentials. When I had just begun working with hair extensions, I immediately knew I had unveiled a new direction in hairstyling. As the educator and director for the Midwest branch of SO.CAP. USA Hair Extensions, I am always attending additional training classes, seminars and educational tutorials to keep on top of the advances in my craft.
What makes you achieve something superb is not only having the talent, but having the confidence and self-assurance in yourself to succeed. Too many people drive for perfection in an ever changing industry. They never realize that their years of experience are what makes them perfect. As for me, I know there will always be something new, and I'm looking forward to teaching it. |
